Company Touts New Executive Hire and 2012 Clean Technology Accolade
Edison, N.J. – February 16, 2012 — FieldView Solutions — a trusted provider of IT Data Center Management software, today announced the addition of Russ Moreland as vice president of sales, and the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) has nominated the company as a finalist for its Clean Technology Companies to Watch award. The new VP of Sales position underscores the company’s rapid market penetration within the U.S. Western region, while the finalist nomination validates FieldView Solutions’ environmental commitment.
Prior to joining FieldView Solutions, Moreland served as national accounts/business development manager at Eaton Corporation. In his role with Eaton, he served as national sales manager for all of Eaton’s major accounts, data users—internationally—as well as performed all phases of channel management and direct sales for the Western and Central U.S. regions. His contributions were duly noted as he exceeded all sales goals, resulting in a personal revenue production of over $18 million. Before joining the Eaton Corporation, Moreland served as senior account executive for Nortel Networks. While at Nortel, he was assigned to manage the @Link Networks valued in excess of $45 million and the Optical Ethernet Initiative. Additional sales positions throughout Moreland’s career include sales engineer at Aztek Engineering, applications engineer at Wescom Marketing and regional sales manager for Panasonic Communication & Systems Company.
“Moreland is a perfect addition to FieldView Solutions’ team,” said Fred Dirla, CEO, FieldView Solutions. “He has a documented track record of being a knowledgeable technical professional with a proactive approach to creating customer-driven strategies designed to stimulate sales, increase presence within competitive markets, and enhance the bottom line—he will serve our expanding U.S. Western region very well.”
Exhibiting strong corporate momentum at the beginning of 2012, FieldView Solutions has been recognized by PACT as a finalist for its Clean Technology Companies to Watch award. PACT’s 19th annual enterprise awards remain the Philadelphia region’s most prestigious business honor for technology and life sciences companies, leaders and entrepreneurs. Each year the award ceremony attracts more than 1,200 prominent business leaders to its black-tie gala celebration of greater Philadelphia’s most notable innovators.
“The standard for today’s successful companies is not just measured on a balance sheet, it’s measured by an organization’s commitment to ensuring a clean environment while improving the standard of living,” Dirla continued. “We are indeed honored that our environmental commitment has been recognized by such a prestigious organization.”
