FieldView Solutions First Company to Receive Funding Through New Green Growth Capital Program

Edison, N.J. – August 22, 2012 — In support of the Christie Administration’s commitment to creating jobs and promoting energy efficiency, FieldView Solutions recently became the first company to receive financing through the state’s new Edison Innovation Green Growth Fund (EIGGF). FieldView Solutions, the industry-leading provider of data center infrastructure management (DCIM), received a $1 million growth capital loan to advance its energy efficient products in New Jersey.

“Helping customers become more energy efficient is at the heart of everything we do. Our platform is specifically designed to help companies realize significant cost savings by optimizing their energy consumption,” said Fred Dirla, CEO, FieldView Solutions. “EIGGF is a terrific program, one that not only promotes energy efficiency but also has a real impact on job creation. We are honored that the State of New Jersey chose to award us this funding.”

Based in Edison, FieldView Solutions is committed to helping data center managers, IT and facilities personnel run their IT environments at peak efficiency – ensuring they maximize uptime, optimize power and cooling and enhance green initiatives. According to the company, its DCIM platform reduces energy consumption by a minimum of 10 percent across the 26 major data centers in New Jersey using FieldView software, and customers have received a 172,000 metric ton reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. FieldView Solutions expects to create 14 new jobs as a result of the EIGGF award.

“FieldView Solutions epitomizes the kind of company we were looking to support when the EIGGF program was created,” said Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. “From enabling greater access to energy efficiency products to spurring the creation of well-paying jobs, this program offers a host of tangible benefits and is helping to further support the Christie Administration’s commitment to growing the state’s clean technology sector.”

Funded by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) and administered by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA), the EIGGF offers assistance in the form of loans with a performance grant component of up to $1 million to New Jersey class I renewable or energy efficiency clean technology companies that have begun generating commercial revenues and are seeking matching funding to support the growth of their clean technology businesses. With the positive performance of the company, up to 50 percent of the funding may be converted to a performance grant.

FieldView offers customers powerful, real-time views into their floor operations. It is the only non-proprietary and vendor-neutral software platform specifically designed to manage all aspects of the data center environment. The strength of FieldView’s power management system is its flexibility and ease-of-use. Managing hundreds or hundreds of thousands of energy points, the solution provides rapid and intuitive access to all data in real-time.

Noting the dramatic reduction in carbon dioxide emissions and electricity consumption experienced by its customers, Dirla concluded, “This is one of the most significant demonstrations of cost and efficiency savings across the DCIM market.”
