Validation of GDCM nlyte® for BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite enables customers to benefit from integrated Global DataCenter Management and BMC Software Solutions
Del Mar, CA– March 5, 2009 – Global DataCenter Management (GDCM), a leading provider of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions, today announced that its nlyte® management solution has achieved technical validation from BMC Software for use with the BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite. This unique validation integrates GDCM’s nlyte data center management solution with BMC Remedy, the market-leading Business Service Management (BSM) solution.
GDCM’s nlyte data center management solution enables users to initiate and monitor routine equipment MAC (Move, Add, Change) processes within the BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) Suite. BMC Software customers now have the ability to select an asset in the data center from the BMC Remedy ITSM Suite, start a workflow process in nlyte to initiate a MAC process, and monitor the task until it is finally flagged as complete.

GDCM nlyte for BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite requires BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite 7.1.x or later and is available for nlyte installations of version 5.x or later.
