Data Center Performance Management Firm Appoints Sales Veteran as New VP & GM of Americas Operations
SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – July 23, 2009 – Global DataCenter Management (GDCM), the leading provider of data center performance management solutions, today announced that Cory Phillips has joined the company as Vice President and General Manager of Americas Operations and will oversee all the field marketing, sales, pre-sales, and customer services functions. Phillips brings more than 16 years experience in software sales and has a proven track record in executive sales positions.
Prior to GDCM, Phillips spent 7 years as Executive Vice President of Global Sales at ProactiveNet, which produces a real-time analytics solution that detects performance abnormalities in the IT environment. After their acquisition by BMC Software in 2007, Phillips stayed to work on the successful integration into the worldwide sales team.
Phillips has also held positions as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Aptia and as Divisional Vice President at Computer Associates (CA).
