– June 30, 2009
– Global DataCenter Management (GDCM), the leading provider of data center performance management solutions, today announced that Jon Temple has joined the company as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Temple brings more than 20 years' experience in the software industry and has an impressive track record of accelerating the growth of emerging software companies.

Previously, Temple served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for Hyperion, the leader in Business Performance Management software, where he managed a global team of over 2,000, grew company revenues to nearly $1 billion and helped complete the successful $3.3 billion acquisition of Hyperion by Oracle in 2007.

Temple has also held positions as President of Worldwide Operations at LiveOps, CEO of privately held firm Above All Software and spent 12 years at Business Objects in a variety of executive sales and operational leadership positions, most recently as SVP and General Manager of the Americas.  During his tenure, Business Objects defined and led the Business Intelligence category before being acquired by SAP for $6.8 billion.

“Jon is an exceptional leader and we are very fortunate to have him join our team as CEO,” said Bernard Liautaud, GDCM Chairman of the Board.  “Jon brings with him a proven track record of success and the unique legacy of building the world’s leading business intelligence software company at Business Objects.  Jon’s appointment to CEO reflects our commitment to building a world-class organization to deliver the leading software solution for data center performance management.”

“I’m very excited to be joining GDCM,” said Temple.  “In a world where corporate environmental responsibility is on everyone’s agenda, data center executives more than ever need to get their arms around business issues such as the cost and predictability of power and cooling, the need to better understand the inventory and location of data center assets and doing all of this while still delivering critical business services. GDCM offers the ground-breaking data center technology to provide the right information to the right people at the right time and I’m delighted to lead GDCM through its next phase of growth.”
