Integrations

At nlyte Software, we realize that you have made significant investments in your data center infrastructure and the tools you need to support it.  We designed nlyte to work with your other solutions and technologies, by providing multiple options for integrating the data from these important tools.

The key to our integration strategy is the nlyte Integrator, a flexible framework we use to provide integrations to hardware and software applications.  The nlyte Integrator is architected in such a way that once the base components are installed, the “pluggable” nature of its design easily supports the addition of new integration “plug-in’s” to provide an interface to intelligent power strips, PDU’s, Environmental sensors, and other data center infrastructure asset data managed in nlyte. In addition to data center devices, the nlyte Integrator also supports the ability to plug-in interfaces for other software applications, like VMware® and BMC Remedy®. The plug-ins support new XML based configuration files and software classes for the individual devices being integrated.

In addition to the nlyte Integrator, nlyte also provides a fully documented, open Application Programming Interface (API) and Web Services support for integrating applications that don’t have a nlyte Integrator Plug-in.  We also fully document our database schema to support the exchange of data using Microsoft’s SQL Server Integration Services and other Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data exchange technologies.  This “open” approach to integration allows nlyte to quickly and efficiently exchange data with your legacy applications and extends the value of these important investments.
